By default
Enterprise Analyzer uses serial verification both for the online tool and for BRP. If you have a multicore CPU, it is better to use parallel
verification.
To enable it in
Enterprise Analyzer:
- Click
Options > Workspace Options.
- Click
Verification > Parallel Verification tab.
- Select either
- Run Parallel Verification in the online tool
- Run Parallel Verification in BRP
- Adjust the
Minimum Queue Processors to improve performance when using an optimized number of CPU cores.
Note: On a quad core CPU you get up to 4 times better performance provided that you use the optimal number of Queue Processors.
