AMBCOMP Output DD Descriptions

Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.

AMBCOMP output DD cards specify cataloged PDS name where generated components (COBOL programs, BMS, MFS, etc.) and the location of the AMB generation log file.

Format:

DD ddname PDSname

Example:

DD GLOGFILE  MFI01.AMB.GENLOG

Specify one occurrence for each applicable DD name
Because these are output files, there is no concatenation
For program generations, the member name of the AMB generation log file in the PDS specified for GLOGFILE is the program name
For screen generations, excluding CICS multiple-map mapsets, the member name of the AMB generation log file in the PDS specified for GLOGFILE is the screen name
For CICS multiple-map mapset generations, the member name of the AMB generation log file in the PDS specified for GLOGFILE is the mapset name.

GLOGFILE	Mainframe PDS where AMB generation log file is uploaded
GSCR	Mainframe PDS where generated BMS, MFS or ISPF panel is uploaded
GSCRSYMB	Mainframe PDS where generated screen symbol(s) are uploaded
GWORKGRP	Workstation location where AMB workgroup definition resides
