The
EXTENDEDESDS option enables you to create extended ESDS files.
Syntax:
EXTENDEDESDS

}
{
OFF
}
Parameters:
- ON
- When set, new ESDS files are created as extended ESDS files. An extended ESDS file is not limited to 4GB, and therefore you
can use extended relative byte addressing with it (see the
EXTENDEDESDSXRBA option).
- OFF
- When set, new ESDS files are created as standard ESDS files.
Comments:
This option is synonymous with option IDXFORMAT"16".
