To Start a Listener

  1. If the table of servers on the Enterprise Server administration page is displayed in summary form, expand it by clicking expand button
  2. Click Details in the Communications Processes cell for the server that owns the listener you want to start.
  3. If you can't see the listener you want to start, choose All from the list of options in Listener Display Filters Process.
  4. Click Edit to the left of the row containing the service listener that you want to start.
  5. Click Started in New Status.
  6. Click OK.
Note: You can start a listener only if the server is started. When a server starts, any stopped listeners are started automatically.
