To use XDB Link with SNA:
- Verify that VTAM is set up to allow independent LU6.2 access to host data. Have the VTAM systems programmer complete the VTAM
Worksheet.
- Ensure that independent LU6.2 and 3270 support have been generated for the physical unit (PU) supporting XDB Link:
- Create the PU.
- Create an independent LU definition.
- Create a mode entry that supports parallel sessions and is compatible with IBMRDB.
Note: Do not discard the VTAM worksheet when you are finished configuring VTAM. It contains information that you will use to configure
other parts of XDB Link.
