To configure the Link for a Gateway Configuration, you must:
- Run the Gateway Profile Utility locally on the machine where the XDB Server and Link are installed
- Have super-user privileges that give you write access to the XDB Server's system location tables
- Check your client application settings in Options to make sure they point to the system location of the local XDB Server
