Defining Data Locations

For data stores, the method you use to define the location depends on where the data store is located:

• For data stores deployed to a network drive, specify the location in the region startup file's CICS > Locations > Application VSAM File Paths section.
• For data stores deployed to a user-defined database, do not configure the location. Specify the data store name the resource definition FCT, in the FCT's File Path property.
