JVM COBOL provides extensive support for SQL. However, there are one or two features of SQL are not supported in
JVM COBOL.
- Dynamic SQL using the SQL Descriptor Area (SQLDA) is not supported for OpenESQL applications compiled with the SQL(DBMAN=ODBC)
directive.
- ESQL is not supported in COBOL for JVM
