Enterprise Developer includes a number of container demonstrations that supplement the information in this documentation and illustrate how to
create and work with COBOL applications in containers.
There are two different sorts of demonstration:
- base image demonstrations show to build
Enterprise Developer images to work with your COBOL applications. You can use the base image demonstrations exactly as they are supplied to create
base images that you can subsequently use with your applications, or you can modify them if needed.
- example application demonstrations make use of the images created by the base image demonstrations and extend them to show
how to build, run and debug images containing example COBOL applications.
This section lists the container demonstrations that are supplied, and for some of the supplied demonstrations provides detailed
information such as descriptions of the files that are included.
