Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- From Online Express, click File > Field
Mapping. The Field Mapping dialog box appears.
- To set the mapping direction, click Field Mappings
> Mapping Direction and click One-way
or Two-way. The default is Two-way.
- To create a mapping:
- Place the mouse pointer over a screen field on the
Control list or a database or Working-Storage field on the
Field list.
- Click and drag the mouse pointer from the field you selected in
step a to the field you want to map to on the other
list.
- Release the mouse to complete the mapping. A one-sided or
double-sided arrow, depending on the mapping direction you selected, appears to
represent the mapping.
Note:
- When you have the mapping direction set to one-way, Online Express
creates an output from the field where the mapping originates and an input to
the field where the mapping terminates.
- When you have the mapping direction set to two-way, Online Express
creates an input/output for each field.
- You can also modify or delete Working-Storage fields, and do a
variety of other tasks from the Field Mapping dialog box.
