From the IDE, you can edit and save the contents of a mainframe data set member.
If the
Mainframe Explorer window is not displayed, click
.

In the
Mainframe Explorer window, log on to the mainframe.

Expand the required search filter to display the data sets.

Expand the required data set to show its members, if applicable.

Right-click the required data set or member, then click
Edit.
The data set or member is opened in an editing window.

Edit the data set or member, then save it.
The edits are saved to the mainframe.
