Distribution

You can distribute Knowledge Discovery components over multiple machines, by using the Distributed Index Handler (DIH) and Distributed Action Handler (DAH). These components distribute index actions and ACI actions respectively to multiple Content components, or other Knowledge Discovery components.

This section describes the features of distribution.

• Distributed Index Handler. Describes the different options for setting up the DIH to distribute your index across multiple Content components.

• Distributed Action Handler. Describes the different options for setting up the DAH to distribute actions to multiple instances of a Knowledge Discovery component.
