Changing or Removing the OCCURS DEPENDING ON Control Item

  1. In the Catalog Explorer, double-click the File Definitions node, then double-click the required file definition.

    The <file-definition-name> tab is displayed.

  2. Select the group-level data item containing the OCCURS DEPENDING ON clause, right-click and select Identify OCCURS DEPENDING ON control item.

    The Select Control Item dialog box is displayed.

  3. In the Control Item field, click and select a new control item from the numeric items displayed, or select <None> to remove the current control item.
  4. Click Apply.

    The Occurs property for the group-level item is updated to reflect the change.

  5. Click Save to Catalog.
