- Load the record layout file that contains the layouts you want to use with the data file. See
To apply record layouts to a data file for instructions.
- Select
File > Data File Editor > Associate Record Layouts and use the Open dialog box to locate and select a record layout to associate.
Note: When you subsequently open this project and data file, the associated record layout loads automatically.
