This process allows you to work with multiple catalogs at the same time: connecting to an ESCWA service potentially gives access to each Micro Focus Directory Server associated with the service, and in turn, access to each catalog for the regions within each directory server. If you are connecting using SSL, you need to add both the ESCWA endpoint and each region's endpoint that you need to work with to your Certificate Authority Trust Store, because Micro Focus Data File Tools needs to connect to a region directly, to ENQ/DEQ the data set.
(Data Explorer).
The Data Explorer opens in the left-hand pane.
and select
Add Connection.
The Data Source Settings dialog box is displayed.

If you are connecting to an unsecured server, an 'Insecure Connection' warning is displayed. See the Use SSL option above to connect securely.
The directory server associated with the ESCWA service are displayed in the Data Explorer.
(Settings), enter the required credentials, then click
Logon. After which, you can expand a node of an enterprise server regions that you have permission to view to display the catalog
associated with that region.
(Filter), then in the
Filter dialog box, type a data set name filter (for example: MFIJCL.*.*.DATA) and click
Confirm.
The Open Data File dialog box appears.
(Settings) to the right of the connection name, and then on the
Data Source Settings dialog box, click
Delete.
