Running the Application
- Associate a transaction ID with the application program. To do this, create a new PCT entry in ESMAC and enter the name of the application program in the
Program Name field.
- Start your terminal emulator and clear the screen.
- Enter the transaction code, that is the name that you gave the PCT entry. This invokes the CICS application which submits the job by writing to the TD queue defined as the internal reader.
