- Start the OpenESQL Assistant.
- Right-click on the data source list.
- Click
Add XML Data Source.
- Browse to the XML file you want to use as a data source and double-click to select it. This file must contain an embedded XML schema for the file as well as data.
Note:
This feature is available only when you set the following Visual Studio options for OpenESQL Assistant as follows:
- Mode option set to
ADO.NET
- Generate option set to EXEC ADO - disconnected model
