To View Server Instances and Properties in Operations Manager

1. Start Operations Manager.
2. In the Operations Console, click Monitoring.
3. Navigate the directory tree: Micro Focus Monitoring and Management > Product Name > Enterprise Server . The following are displayed in the tree:
   • Server overall state
   • MSS
   • Performance view

To work with Server overall state take the following steps:

1. Select Server overall state from the directory tree. A list of enterprise server instances is displayed in the main panel.
2. To display a list monitoring and performance options for a specific server, right click the server name and take the Open option.
3. Select the list item you wish to view. To view properties of a specific server, select Diagram view, expand the diagram tree if necessary, and click on the appropriate server icon. To view the health state of a server, select Health Explorer for Server-name.
4. Select File->Close to return to the list of servers.

To work with MSS take the following steps:

1. Expand MSS in the directory tree.
2. Select MSS systems state from the directory tree. A list of MTO enabled enterprise server instances is displayed in the main panel.
3. To display a list monitoring and performance options for a specific server, right click the server name and take the Open option.
4. Select the list item you wish to view. To view properties of a specific server, select Diagram view, expand the diagram tree if necessary, and click on the appropriate server icon. To view the health state of a server, select Health Explorer for Server-name.
5. Select File->Close to return to the list of servers.

To work with Performance view take the following steps:

1. Select Performance view from the directory tree. A graph with a list of counter instances for each enterprise server running that is enabled for performance monitoring is displayed in the main panel.
2. Select the appropriate performance counter check box to plot the counter value on the graph.
