- In the table of servers on the Home page of Enterprise Server Administration, click
Edit to the left of the row for the server that owns the XA resource you want to edit.
- Click the
XA Resources tab.
- Click
Edit next to the XA resource you want to edit.
- Update the attributes on the page as required.
- Click
OK.
Note: You cannot update the attributes of an XA resource if the server is started.
To reconnect to an XA resource following an error
Set the ES_xxxxx_NB_RETRIES environment variables in
Configuration Information on the
Edit Server page, where
xxxxx is the ID of the resource. This specifies the number of times a SEP will attempt to reconnect to the XA resource following an error. The default is 5. If no connection is made, the switch is disabled.
