To add a resource script file to your native COBOL project

Note: The following information applies to native COBOL applications only.
  1. In Solution Explorer, right-click your project.
  2. Click Add > Existing Item.
  3. Set Object of type filter to Resources files (.rc).
  4. Browse to the location of the resource script file and select it.
  5. Click Add.
